Author: Michael Van Droff | 2 Comments »

Every season somehow has it’s music. When summer sounds kinda sunny, uplifting and happy-go-lucky winter probably is more cosy and invites to curl up at home. For the January issue of German MAXI magazine we put together eight super-cosy acoustic pop songs which come with the magazine and will be the perfect soundtrack for this winter season. „The Sound of Winter #1“ features acts such as Tiger Cooke and Lizzy Loeb – wavemusic fans probably know them from SongRise #3 or Buhne 16 #2 – as well as folk top-act Mumford & Sons, rising  Ben Howard or Hamburg’s very own Homesick Astronauts.

So if you are  looking for the right sound for this winter – beside of our moreorlessChristmas 6 – you should vistit your local kiosk today and get a copy of the latest MAXI issue  – it’s out today.

Here is a little teaser – William Fitzsimmons‘ brilliant version of Katy Perry’s „I Kissed A Girl“.

Better get it before it’s too late.

This CD is wonderful! I love „three tree town“ and „shine on me“ the most.

Just too bad that there was no cover on the songs and I can’t find one online anywhere to use on my iTunes.
